B. WILSON was born in 1947. He was appointed to the Camden Fire Department

retirement on May 1, 2011, having given the City of Camden over 29 years

One day short of two years later, on February 18, 2018 George Wilson joined her. Retired Captain Michael McCarthy, on word of his passing, wrote "The world lost a good man". On word of his passing, retired Camden firefighter Richard Martinez wrote "He taught me how to be a fireman". |
The Honorable Gentle Giant, George Wilson has transitioned to his heavenly Father, this morning Sunday February 18, 2018, two years after the passing of his wife Sharon Wilson of Camden. I am in total shock, I received word this morning from his daughter Sharee and his sister at approximately 7:00 a.m., that Mr. George Wilson my Black Belt Senior Lead Instructor & Sempai at the Mighty Fairview Dojo Noble House of Nisei Goju Ryu Karate Do & Jitsu Camden DIED THIS MORNING; he was our best friend and family by choice! This is the most devastating unreal sounding news that I can think of. I am very sadden and every one who knows him are so sorry. Further information shall be provided shortly.
