Bart is very old, but he got up when this pug walked by. Maybe he recognized the walk (or waddle).... It looked like Bart was checking him out to see if this was his pal Yogi. After the little guy left Bart nosed around some more before going back under the bench to sit in the shade.

Mutilated pit bull to get new owners By JIM WALSH
	Rosie, a mutilated pit bull found near death in a trash-strewn lot last month, is getting a new home. A Philadelphia couple is adopting the dog, which is believed to have chewed off its right front leg to free itself from an entangling chain or cable. "She stole my heart," said Kathryn Smith, 24, who is taking Rosie into the apartment she shares with her boyfriend, Michael Armine, 26. The couple have been visiting the dog daily at Rothman Animal Hospital since shortly after Rosie's rescue. "When Rosie sees them, she perks right up," said Shelley Hill, the hospital's night manager, who chose the couple as Rosie's owners. "I think she's going to have a wonderful home."
Rosie was found lying in a North Camden lot by city animal control officers on Feb. 23. She had an exposed bone on the stump of her leg and infections that would have been fatal within days, Hill said.The dog underwent surgery at the hospital to remove the rest of her injured leg. She is to be spayed on Tuesday and could go to her new home in Philadelphia's Art Museum neighborhood by the end of next week. "They'll give her the socialization and care she didn't get as a pup," Hill said of Rosie's new owners. The dog's original owner has not been found. Compassion for Camden, a nonprofit organization that helps animals, has paid Rosie's medical bill of some $5,000, said Marion Churchill, the group's president. Charitable contributions have covered that expense. Any extra money will stay with the hospital for the next needy dog, she said. Hill said she believes Rosie will make a good pet, despite her ordeal. "Even through all this, she's still trusting humans, which is nice," Hill said.
