PRIVATE FRANK M. FALLS
was born in New Jersey in around 1895 to Lena and Allen Falls. His
father worked as a teamster. The Falls were living in Goshen, Clearfield
County, Pennsylvania in 1900. The 1906 City Directory shows the family
at 606 South
2nd Street in Camden. By the time the 1910 Census was enumerated,
they had moved to Philadelphia. They moved back to Camden after the 1914
Camden City Directory was compiled. Private

Place, Camden NJ, died of pneumonia on January 18, 1919, in
France. He was gassed on the day the armistice was signed, November 11,
1918. He was a member of Company B, 1st Anti-Aircraft Machine Gun
Battalion, to which he was transferred from Company D of the old 3rd New
Jersey National Guard Regiment. He was the son of Mrs. Lena Falls, of 44
Newkirk Place, and was 24 years old. His parents had moved out of Camden
to Cecil County, Maryland by the end of 1919. |
