WARRANT
OFFICER RICHARD PATTERSON was born on September 26, 1946. His home of record is Pennsauken, NJ.
He served in the US Army and attained the rank of Warrant Officer.
Patterson was killed in action on March 22, 1967.
Serving with Troop B, 9th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Air Cavalry Division, Warrant Officer
Patterson was killed in action in Vietnam on March 22, 1967 after the
helicopter he was in was shot down. Also aboard was aircraft commander Captain George B. Rusnak and gunner
Sergeant Paul E Ream. His body was recovered and he was brought home to
the United State for burial, at Beverly National Cemetery
