CORPORAL JOSEPH FRANCIS TONER was born in 1931. His family was originally from North Camden, in the area near Main, Front, and York Streets. Before entering the United States Army Joseph Toner lived in Berlin Township, NJ. Corporal Toner was a member of the 9th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division. He was listed as Missing in Action while fighting the enemy in North Korea on November 26, 1950. He was presumed dead on December 31, 1953. |
