CORPORAL GEORGE J. BROUILLARD was born on May 24, 1929 to Felix Joseph and Florence Brouillard. The Brouillard family lived at 2318 Federal Street in Camden NJ. George Bruillard enlisted in the United States Army on his 17th birthday. After basic training, he was sent to the Philippine Islands.

Corporal George Brouillard died in the Philippines as a result of injuries suffered in an automobile accident on January 20, 1948. His death was reported in the Camden Courier-Post on January 24, 1948. He was survived by his parents, sisters Myra and Florence, and brother Richard Brouillard.

George Brouillard was brought home to New Jersey in March of 1948. He was buried at Beverly National Cemetery in Beverly NJ on April 8th of that year. He lies near his parents, his father having also served in the Army, reaching the rank of Technical Sergeant.
