William A. Seitzinger of Warrington died Monday, Aug. 18, 2008, in his home surrounded by his loving family, after a brief battle with cancer. He was 72.He was the husband of Lorraine (Kopesky) Seitzinger. They were married 52 years.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Catherine and Frederick Seitzinger. Bill resided in Collingswood, N.J. and attended Camden Catholic High School. He then attended The University of Georgia on an athletic scholarship.

He retired from Glaxco Smith Kline and then worked with his wife at Cherry Lane Flower Shop, Southampton, which they owned and operated for 27 years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Linda and her husband, Ken Ferrier, of Perkasie, Lisa and her husband, Bryan Herrmann, of Silverdale, and Diane and her husband, Scott Martin, of Hilltown; and one son, Bill Seitzinger and his wife, Lori, of Doylestown. He also is survived by eight grandchildren, Christopher, Jamie, Ryan, Bill, Kenny, Danny, Kelly and Cory; two brothers, Robert and Fred; and two sisters, Karen Streahle and Letty Mohlberger. He was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Seitzinger.

Bill very much enjoyed spending time at the Jersey Shore, boating and fishing with his family. He was also active at the Doylestown Hospital Wellness Center, Warrington.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 21, at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 856 Euclid Ave., Warrington. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 Wednesday evening and from 9:30 to 10:30 Thursday morning at Shelly Funeral Home, 1460 Easton Road, Warrington. Interment will be in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Warrington Township.
