WARREN P. MILLER was born in Camden, New Jersey on January 22, 1930 to Oliver and Edna Miller. His early years were spent at 743 Walnut Street. By 1940 his family had moved to 1142 Baring Street. The family was at 807 Walnut Street when the 1943 Camden City Directory was compiled, and they were still at that address in 1947. Oliver Miller and family had moved to 780 Walnut Street by the mid-1950s.
After serving in the United States Navy during the Korean War, Warren P. Miller was appointed to the Camden Fire Department on April 12, 1956. He reported for duty four days later. The 1956 New Jersey Bell Telephone Directory shows Warren Miller at 2114 Watson Street in East Camden. He moved to 433 Trenton Avenue during the 1960s, and was still at that address as late as 1977.
Warren P. Miller passed away on May 6, 1985, leaving a widow, Constance Miller, and a son, Wayne V. Miller, who was appointed to the the Camden Fire Department on December 16, 1987. Sadly, Wayne V. Miller was killed in a car accident in July of 1990.
