SEAMAN SECOND CLASS JOHN
PETER ENRIGHT JR. was born in Pennsylvania around 1922. He was the son of
John P. Enright and his wife Marie. His father worked as a bus driver.
The family moved from Philadelphia to 49 Essex Avenue in Delaware Township (modern-day Cherry
Hill) NJ at some point after 1935 and prior to the 1940 Census.
Seaman Second Class
Enright was
serving on the transport Hugh L. Scott AP-17 that was torpedoed off off Fedala, Morocco on
November 12, 1942. John Enright was survived by his father, John P.
Enright Sr., of the Essex Avenue address. |
